I had an accountant in the UK, which in hindsight, was brilliant value for money. AGK acounting didn't contact me after taking my custom until I contacted them in happenstance 1 month before my accounts were due to ask them this very question, "When are my accounts due in Australia?" They sent no reminders and were rude on the phone.
Now, ASIC forms have only just come through saying that I have $600 worth of 2 late pyament fees. My current accountant informs me that AGK haven't done their due diligence and forward the multiplicity of reminders that would have come through about this. I imagine, they just chucked them in the bin thinking that I wasn't their responsibility anymore. Part of being a professional, is making sure that follow up and duty of care to customers, both current and prior, is done.
I'm sorry to have to write this but my engagement with this company has led me to such a level of frustration that I saw a 1 star review on google as being my only recompense for the anxiety this company has caused me and a $600 ASIC fee. - Sandra Blake Added January 26, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very professional, great advice.
